🎭 Step 1: Find Du Yubai

Teleport to the Bug Catcher's Cabin Warp Spire in Breezy Meadow, then head south toward the quest icons. When you reach the hill, hug the left side. Du Yubai is there, dramatically surrounded by Esselings. Clear them out because nobody interrupts a musical legend, then talk to her.

🐴 Step 2: Collect Pony Curls Without Losing Your Mind

This is where the quest gets a little spicy. Du Yubai needs Pony Curls to fix her strings, but ponies are basically furry anxiety machines. They will bolt if you so much as breathe in their direction.

The trick? Stay at least 100m away, switch into your Animal Grooming Outfit, and sneak toward the pony pasture the navigation points you to. No cap, if you rush it, you'll be chasing tail for a hot second. Once you snag the curls, hand them over.

📸 Step 3: Take a Photo of Du Yubai

Pull up Momo's Camera from the top left of your screen. You'll know the shot is correct when a gold frame appears around Du Yubai. If she's not glowing like a golden retriever seeing a treat, retake it.

🏛️ Step 4: Monaco Needs a Duo Shot

Head to the Mayor's Office and talk to Mayor Grace. She points you to three people, and Monaco is right down the road. Follow the navigation, find him, then take a photo of Monaco and Du Yubai together. Both NPCs need gold frames around them. Nikki can be in the shot or not, I won't judge.

💍 Step 5: Help Fournier Plan a Proposal

Next up is Fournier, a chef at Ray and Wing's. He's planning a proposal, which is adorable, but he needs your help. You only have two jobs:

  • Give Jeka either a Sunny Orchid, Rainy Orchid, or Florapom. Sunny and Rainy Orchids live in Florawish, while Florapoms hang out in Breezy Meadow. Any flower works.

  • Head back to the counter, interact with the wait prompt, and watch the cutscene.

Afterward, you need another photo. This time Nikki, Du Yubai, and the two other guests need to be in frame. Here's the important part: do not exit the photo screen. Look at the top right for an upload button. If that button is playing hide-and-seek, log out, log back in, and retake the photo. It should appear.

📚 Step 6: Rescue Elettra and Release Paper Cranes

Teleport to the Dream Warehouse Warp Spire and head inside. Elettra is buried under a pile of books, because apparently Miraland has no librarians on duty. Rescue her, then follow the story up to the Dream Warehouse Rooftop. You, Du Yubai, and Elettra will release some paper cranes. It's very cinematic, try not to cry.

🎻 Step 7: Watch the Performance and Claim Rewards

Head back to the White Jade Ship and go inside. Sit down, and if the performance doesn't trigger, change the time to night. Watch the cutscene, talk to Du Yubai, and take one final photo with her. Make sure both Nikki and Du Yubai are visible.
